Job Responsibilities:
Select finish samples, develop cohesive color palettes and furniture layouts adaptable to quick operational changes. Source premium durable materials suitable for high-traffic hospitality and casino retail environments.
Create, organize and maintain detailed FF&E specifications following company formats and specialized documentation servers.
Review interior drawings and millwork details to ensure accurate FF&E data before release. Review custom fabrication submissions, product mock-ups and vendor shop drawings to protect design intent.
Collaborate with Purchasing to monitor expedited budget estimates, source alternative materials and expedite requisitions. Develop local and regional vendor networks to shorten lead times for high-turnover asset replacements.
Conduct factory visits and workshop reviews to evaluate quality control, millwork engineering, and custom fixtures. Assist with on-site FF&E delivery, within operating hotel areas to minimize guest disruption. Perform site walk inspections to identify deficiencies, generate punch lists, and verify that the final setup matches the company brand’s standard.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or FF&E- related design fields.
4–6 years interior design experience focusing on luxury hospitality, premium retail or fast-track F&B refurbishments projects.
Experience in the luxury hospitality or residential market.
Strong team collaborator with proven experience developing and managing FF&E specifications under tight deadlines.
Strong knowledge of custom luxury furniture, fabrics, finishes, and specific knowledge of high durability
commercial materials suitable for active resort operations.
Ability to interpret architectural drawings, review vendor shop drawings, and verify rapid material submittals.
Proficient in MS Excel, Photoshop and AutoCAD; hands-on experience with specification servers (e.g. Spexx) preferred.
Capable of managing multiple concurrent micro-projects simultaneously.
Fluent in spoken and written English; Knowledge of Chinese is an advantage.
